Ingredients
- Pork chops (bone-in or boneless) – 4 chops, about 1½–2 lbs total, 1″ thick
- Olive oil or butter – 2 tbsp
- Chicken broth or water – ½ cup
- Dijon mustard – 3 tbsp
- Whole-grain mustard (optional) – 2 tbsp
- Honey – ¼ cup
- Garlic, minced – 2 cloves
- Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Paprika – ½ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish) – as desired
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Step 2: Sear the Chops
Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Honey Mustard Sauce
In the same skillet, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard (if using), honey, broth, and vinegar. Whisk and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Finish Cooking
Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon sauce over them, reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook for 6–8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
Spoon extra sauce over the chops before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and pair with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
With their irresistible sweet-and-savory glaze, these Honey Mustard Pork Chops are bound to become a family favorite you’ll look forward to making again and again.
